Data Deletion Instructions

The fastest way to delete your data:

1. Sign in to Rekonio and open Settings.
2. Choose “Delete account” (brands: “Close brand account”).
3. Type DELETE to confirm and submit the request.

Our team reviews each request and confirms by email. Active deals must be completed or cancelled first.

You don't need to delete your account to delete your identity verification data. Open Dashboard → Verification and choose “Withdraw consent and delete my verification data”. It takes effect immediately:

• Your PAN card image and date of birth are deleted.
• Your Verified badge is removed.
• Your full PAN is erased — unless you have already received payouts, when tax law requires us to keep it, encrypted, with those payment records.

Even if you do nothing, we delete PAN card images automatically 30 days after review.

If you signed in with Facebook, we received only your name, email address and public profile picture. To delete that data, follow either method above.

You can also remove Rekonio from your Facebook account under Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and websites. This stops Facebook sharing new data with us, but your Rekonio account stays active until you request deletion here.

We delete your profile, login identities and connected social account tokens, and we aim to complete this within 30 days of verifying your request.

Your PAN card image is deleted straight away. Records we must keep by law — invoices, payment, payout and TDS records, and the PAN linked to them — are retained, encrypted and access-restricted, for the legally required period (up to 8 years after the relevant financial year) and then removed.
